Add Device to the Device Catalog

NOTE: Users with the Device Admin role can Add a Device to the Catalog from their organization's Pending Device List (after Bulk Import Upload) when no other Catalog Device has been found as a match.

1. Log in to MDRAP.

2. On the MDRAP Home page, click on the Administration tab on the navigation bar across the top of the page, then select View Device Catalog from the drop-down list.

3. A portion of the Device Catalog will be displayed. Note that there are over 30,000 devices in the entire catalog. The Device Catalog screen brings up the most commonly accessed devices in MDRAP. Additional notes about Catalog Search will be displayed in a popup box by clicking on the information icon to the right of the Search Catalog entry field.

4. To add a device to the Device Catalog from the organization's Pending Device List (from Device Inventory screen click on the Bulk Import tab), click the ADD button for each pending inventory item on the Pending Devices List. Note that this can only be done if the organization has a Pending Device List after a Bulk Import Upload and the user has been assigned the Device Admin role. (see View Existing Import)

5. Complete the required information and click the ADD button at the bottom of the screen.
